Braun no touch+ forehead thermometer

OK bear with me as this is my VERY first blog!!! I received a Braun no touch + forehead thermometer for free through influenster.com to try and review this didn't cost me anything it was COMPLIMENTARY!!!

First this is a really awesome thermometer I have tried others that claim to "be the best" and they are even marketed as "doctor recommended" and the price for these are ridiculous!!! I received my thermometer today it came in a  small box so not tons of waste which it a super + it was easy to take out of the packaging!!!!

After i took it out of the package I inserted the 2 AA batteries that were included another +!!! I then looked it over there are 2 large buttons on the front one is to turn the thermometer on and the other is to take the temperature.

The screen is large probable the size of a quarter which is nice makes it easy to read the screen. It does have a back light so it makes it easier to see what is on the screen. the letters and numbers are pretty large too another thing to add to the list of pros!!!

It has a button on the side that allows you to turn the noise on or off. It has a color coding system for temperatures the screen shows green for normal temps yellow if it is a little raised but not quite a fever and then red for a fever. That is definitely a great feature as all of us moms and every first time mom wonder if there baby has a fever if their temperature is even just a little bit raised!!!

Now for the ease of use this thermometer claims to take the temperature accurately in 2 seconds... It states it can take the accurate temperature using the no touch feature or the forehead feature!!! It also says to get an accurate reading you must be inside for at least 30 minutes before taking temperature we had just came inside when i tried it and its very chilly here so we got low temps for both methods but it was just a trial run to see if it indeed took your temperature in 2 secs and if both methods were accurate!!

So I tested this claim on my son who is barely a year old and he was wiggling everywhere which made it no less easy but the fact is it most definitely takes the temperature in 2 seconds or less I first tried the no touch feature super easy!! in this mode it has a light that shines onto the baby or child's skin the screen lets you know if you are close enough to detect the temperature its says fwd if your not close enough simple right!!! Super simple now I tried the forehead method and got almost the same reading as the no touch but for no touch my son grabbed it and it took a low temperature but we had also been outside so that is understandable!!!

Overall I must say this is a pretty awesome thermometer it stands up to its claims it has super easy instructions if you need to even use them its simple fast accurate and wonderful for sick sleeping little ones. I definitely will be telling everyone about this amazing product and hope that I can get these in the future for other Mommy's and mommies to be to make it just a little less stressful being a parent to a sick child!!!!
